Our Mission
Established in 1969, The EMC² Fraternity is an exclusive Engineering and Physical Sciences brotherhood dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in education and service to the country.
We do not seek fame nor notoriety. We destinguish ourselves from Greek lettered societeies through tangible, worthwhile endeavors.
Our History
Founded in 1969 by ten scholars of the University, the EMC² Fraternity is an exclusive Engineering and Physical Sciences brotherhood dedicated to the pursuit of excellence in education and service to the country.
Through its years of existence as a fraternal organization based in the College of Engineering, it has distinguished itself through noteworthy endeavors and activities that aimed to uplift the cause and welfare of the University studentry and the community. It has also established itself as a molding ground of student leaders and young exemplars in the fields of Engineering and the Sciences.
The brotherhood’s achievements did not go unnoticed by the UP Administration, as the EMC² Fraternity was adjudged as one of the Five Most Outstanding Organizations of the entire UP System, during the Diamond Jubilee Celebration of the University of the Philippines in 1983.
The EMC² Fraternity pushes forward in the 21st century as an active organization in the University community, seeking avenues towards serving as a potent force for Nation-building, bringing reform and genuine growth to the Filipino people.
